Luke will be making is marathon debut this Spring. After an impressive track career and two years of solid road racing, Coach Dieter Hogen thinks the time is right to tackle the marathon. But his big test came lat fall in Chicago when he was asked to pace the leaders through 30K. He did so with the precision of a veteran and was already thinking about the full distance the next day. He brings great range - 3:35 (1500), 7:26 (3K), 12:56 (5K), 27:12 (10K), 1:02:01 (half-marathon) - to the marathon team this season.
