Charles Kibiwott did not start running seriously until he was twenty-four years old, but he quickly made up for lost time by winning three marathons (Reims 2002, Reims 2003, and Palm Beach 2004). Since then he has run 2:08 in Frankfurt (2005) and an impressive 2:06 in last spring’s Rotterdam Marathon. Married with four children, Charles’s maturity and work ethic have helped him become one of the most consistent (and fastest) KIMbia athletes. October's Chicago race did not go as planned as Charles battled some health issues early in the training program that affected his fitness. But now he\\\'s healthy and most certainly smiling -- he returns to Rotterdam in April.
